  2. Pull fuses until it drops. With the meter still in line, pull fuses one at a time watching the current: the fuse that drops the reading to normal names the guilty circuit. Radio amps, power seats, trunk lights and aftermarket stereo or alarm kits top the all-time offender list.
  3. Fix and verify properly. Repair or disconnect the offending device (a stuck trunk-light switch costs dollars), then repeat the rested-draw test to confirm. Verify a week: two overnight sits, two confident starts, case closed.
