Time Zone Meeting Planner: Find the Overlap That Actually Works

Remote work's silent tax: someone always eats the 6 a.m. or the 11 p.m. This planner compares your zone and one other across all 24 hours, marks both working windows (8:00-18:00), and highlights the honest overlap, with daylight saving handled automatically.

Updated September 03, 2026, after a fresh review, with updated visuals and links.

Uses each zone's current offset (daylight saving aware).

How to read the table

Pick your zone and your colleague's, and the grid pairs every hour of your day with theirs. Green rows are the shared business window; yellow rows hold only one side's working hours.

The offset line is daylight-aware: Santo Domingo to London reads +5 h in summer and differs when Europe or the US (but not the Caribbean) shifts clocks. The zone list covers the Americas, Europe and the usual offshore hubs.

When no green exists (think India vs Pacific time), the honest answer is rotation: alternate the pain so no one permanently attends meetings in pajamas.

Worth remembering

  • For standing meetings, publish the time in both zones in the invite title; the 'wait, whose 3 p.m.?' saga dies immediately.
  • DST season is when recurring meetings silently shift an hour: re-run this planner each March and November.

Frequently asked

Why is my shown offset different from what I expected?

Daylight saving: zones shift on different dates (US, Europe), and some places (Santo Domingo included) never shift. The tool reads today's real offset from your device.

What is the best overlap for US East and Europe?

The classic golden window is 9:00-12:00 ET, which lands 14:00-17:00 or 15:00-18:00 in Western Europe depending on the season.
